Bellagio called the “Pearl of the Lake”:

• Gardens of Villa Melzi
• Historical downtown with typical paths and stairways other than a lot of characteristic houses and multicolored shops where they sell high quality goods.

Tremezzo:

• Villa Carlotta and its gardens
• Villa Carlotta is a place of rare beauty, where masterpieces of nature and art live together in perfect harmony in over 70.000 square metres of gardens and museum. The beautiful villa was built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains, facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio.

• Villa del Balbianello
• Villa del Balbianello: Built for Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini at the end of the XVIII century, the Villa stands on the tip of a steep promontory overlooking Lake Como, almost opposite Bellagio. Today, the villa has the appearance desired by its last owner, the explorer Guido Monzino, with a rich collection of Chinese, African and pre-Colombian art, precious English and French furniture of the 1700s and the small museum with documents and mementoes of his expeditions. Yet the true masterpiece is the panoramic terraced garden dominated by the elegant "loggia" with three arches rising on the highest point of the promontory. Villa del Balbianello is famous also for Hollywood movies industry. A lot of scenes of blockbuster movies was filmed in this beautiful location (for example Star Wars episode 2 and 007 Casino Royale).
